Pedro was an excellent instructor! He made sure that I knew the technique to catch a wave before getting in the water. He also clearly explained safety for surfing. He speaks both Spanish and English well. The name of the tent for the school is “Team Rosado Surf School” and is black with pink letters. I highly recommend this surf experience!

I had a great first time surf experience with Pedro! Even though my balance was not great, he helped me learn the technique and I was able to ride some waves :) The waves were very gentle and great for learning at the beach as well!

We had such a great experience with Miraflores Surf Lessons from start to finish! Pedro responded quickly to schedule the lesson and answered all of my questions beforehand. He and his team were so kind and accommodating. My two kids (13 and 15) and I each had our own instructor, since we were beginners. I am an almost 50, overweight woman who has always wanted to try surfing. I was terrible, but my instructor (Emerson - sp?) was so patient and encouraging. Even when I said I was too tired, he encouraged me to try one more time - and I stood on the board (with a lot of support)! Maybe for just a few seconds, but I did it. I will probably never surf again, but my kids have both already asked to take another vacation where we can surf. The instructors carried cameras, and my son was independent enough that his instructor (Jay or Jake maybe) was able to get great video and pictures of him. They were a slight extra charge and so worth it. We had a great day, and I checked another item off of my bucket list. If you are thinking about taking surf lessons in Lima, don’t hesitate to book them.

We had a great experience with Pedro and his team. We did a lesson with me (43) and my two daughters (10 and 8). The team gave us basic instructions on how to stand up on the board before taking us out to the water. For my two daughters, the instructors rode on boards with them. They shifted back and forth easily between Spanish and English, ensuring comprehension. 10/10 recommend.
